Unity, Useful life, Being useful

UNITY & HUMILITY :- (Phil 2:1-8)

1. The possibility :- by consolation in Christ, comfort of love, communion of the Spirit, compassion for one another.
2. The practice:- similar mind, same love, same attitude, single mind, self-control, self-denial, selflessness, sharing &

                                   Serving.

3. The pattern:- like Lord Jesus Christ.- knowing yourself, but denying consciously, willing to lose.

-         emptied-accepted less than His rights, positions

-         humbled, became obedient- till end.

USEFUL LIFE :- I Peter 4: 1-11(fruitful/ effective life)

1. Holiness – God’s will
2. Prayer – watch & pray
3. Love – abundantly- to increase
4. Hospitality – without grudging
5. Ministry- for mutual blessing.

BEING/ BECOMING USEFUL TO GOD :- MK 11:1-11

Two kinds of people God needs for His use:-

1. Disciples :- who are already following Him-

-         to go & set people free & bring them to Him

2. Despised :- the donkey- unused, bound- loosened

-         set free, brought to Jesus, He rode on it- “Master needs it”

-         Glory, respect because of Jesus.

-It is not how good, happy or satisfied we are, but how useful we are- that is the ultimate goal in our lives.
